VISIT NEWARK 2024!

Be with us as we Visit Newark 2024! Photographers, have your cameras or phones ready, our first stop is Branch Brook Park to view the magnificent Cherry Blossoms, then we head for the breathtaking Cathedral Basilica. We continue our tour, led by Newark native, Phil Yourish, to Ahavas Shalom, the only remaining synagogue in Newark.  The second floor of the synagogue contains an art gallery.

Following our tour we will have lunch at Hobby’s, located in downtown Newark, it is a not-to-be-missed old-fashioned Jewish delicatessen experience that has been in Newark since 1962.

Visit Newark 2024! will take place rain or shine. Seating is on a first come first serve basis. The bus will leave from the Livingston Community/Senior Center, lower level, 204 Hillside Avenue, promptly at 9:30 a.m. and return at approximately 3:30.   The Arts Council of Livingston is a nonprofit arts coordinating group established by the Township Council.
